This position oversees initiatives like the DRG Assurance program, Advisory Services, Staffing, and Learning & Development while also driving efforts in sales, marketing, analytics, and client engagement. TheSenior Medical Director ensures accurate and complete medical documentation, fosters client satisfaction, contributes to operational improvements, and represents Enjoin at industry events to promote expertise and capabilities.What You'll Do• Lead and support development across all Enjoin programs, including DRG Assurance, Advisory Services, and Learning & Development. • Maintain strong client relationships, focusing on satisfaction, feedback, and continuous improvement. • Partner with sales and marketing teams to develop proposals and presentations, respond to RFPs, and achieve business goals. • Provide education to clients and teams on medical documentation, DRG assignment, and coding practices. • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure accurate documentation, coding integrity, and optimal healthcare outcomes.• Guide IT/Analytics teams in creating and refining products and reports. • Represent Enjoin at industry events and contribute thought leadership through speaking engagements. • Ensure adherence to compliance standards and professional development goals. Qualifications• A Medical Degree and a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience within the U.S. required. • CCS, CDIP, CCDS, and/or HCQM highly preferred. • Extensive experience in MS and APR-DRGs, ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT/E&M, coding guidelines, Coding Clinics, Hierarchical Condition Categories (HCCs), and CMS Quality programs required.• Excellent leadership, communication, planning, organization, and interpersonal skills required.
