About theRole: We are seeking a Regional Director of MDS to oversee the clinical reimbursement process and ensure compliance across multiple skilled nursing facilities. MajorResponsibilities: • Lead & Inspire - Educate, mentor, and develop MDS Coordinators across multiple locations.• Strategic Role - Oversee MDS compliance and reimbursement strategies across facilities. • Make an Impact - Ensure high-quality resident assessments and care planning. • Provide ongoing education, mentorship, and leadership development to facility MDS Coordinators. • Travel to various skilled nursing facilities to provide hands-on support and guidance. • Oversee the coordination and completion of the Resident Assessment Instrument (MDS, CAA's, and Care Plan) in compliance with federal and state regulations.• Monitor and document the management of Medicare and Managed Care residents in collaboration with facility teams. • Ensure accurate assessments and documentation to support proper reimbursement and quality care. • Develop and implement innovative strategies to improve MDS processes and optimize clinical MinimumQualifications: • Licensure: Current, active, and unencumbered RN license. • Experience: • Skilled Nursing/Rehabilitation facility experience required. • Multi-site, regional experience preferred.• Two (2)-three (3) years of experience as an MDS Coordinator. • Certifications: RAC-CT or RNAC preferred. • Leadership: Supervisory and leadership experience preferred.
