CharacterQualities:• Adaptable• Confident• Compassionate• Critical thinker• Educator• Supportive• Passionate• Problem-solverQualifications:• Personal, growing relationship with Jesus Christ. • Agreement with andadherencetoPreBorn!’sStatement of Faith and Code of Christian Conduct.• 100% pro-life – no exceptions. • Willingness tointercedebefore God fortheministryof PreBorn!. • Registered Nurse• Unrestrictive RN Multi-state Compact License ina nursingcompact state. • Good standing with the Board of Registered Nurses required. • BLS certified. • At least 2 or more years of clinical experience in Emergency Care, Intensive Care, or Labor and Deliverypreferred. • Uses clinical judgement/ clinical reasoning skills to makequick clinical assessments or,triaging,toidentifya nursing diagnosis based on the client’s needs and implements an individualized plan of care and then evaluates the patient’s responseaccording to practice standards.• Ability toutilizeclinical inquiry systematically and evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice, including, but not limited to sensitive indicators. • Must have a suitable home office that meets current HIPAA/ Federal/ State regulations. • Identifiespersonal and professional goals withnursingpractice andparticipatesin decision making process. • Knowledge of medical terminology• Must be able to communicate thoughts clearly, both verbally and in writing. • Proficient keyboarding skills and strong technical aptitude.• Strong interpersonal skills. • Effectively collaborate with different team members with varying degrees ofexpertiseand experience. Duties:• Promote a safe and seamless transitionthrough the healthcare encounter without preventablecomplicationsor delays. • Delegates interventions and works with Network Care Provider staffbased on the Nursing Practice Act and the American Nurses Association. • Identifiesand prioritizes patient and family needs. • Develops,implements,and evaluates the nursing plan of care.• Supportsevidencedbased practice changes through researchutilizationandexperientiallearning. • Participates in quality/performanceimprovementinitiatives. • Creates a compassionate, supportive, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients. • Develops therapeuticrelationshipsandmaintainsappropriateboundaries. • Manages emotional/ spiritual/ physical pain bypromoting comfort and healingand preventing unnecessary suffering. • Preserves and protects the confidentiality, autonomy, dignity, and rights of the patient andrepresentstheir concerns.• Creates an individualized care plan that accurately reflectsPreBorn!’s Statement ofFaith. • Facilitateslearning for patients/ families, nursing staff or othermembersof the health care team and community; integratingappropriateeducationthroughout thecontinuumof care to help themparticipateand or make informed decisionsabouttheirhealth care andtreatments, including to but not limited to health promotions and disease prevention. • Assess learning needs and outcomes. • Observe changes in medical/spiritual/ emotional condition ofpatientsand effectively communicate changes to other nursing staff members/ refer to outside providers(Particularlyinemergentsituations/ conditions)• Knowledge of laws, rules,regulations,and standards of care includingpoliciesand procedures related to telehealth guidelines set in place by the American NursesAssociation.• Prepare patients for clinical follow-up at local Network Care Providers. • Performs other duties as assigned, understanding that the role will evolve as the program matures.
