We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Project Manager to in a unique, hybrid role. You will be essential in driving the successful implementation of complex technical projects, including datacenter migrations and the deployment of new Multi-Cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).In this role, you will be a strategic leader who:• Leads Agile Delivery for technical teams. • Defines technical features and roadmaps as a Technical Product Manager. • Translates complex client needs into actionable requirements as a Technical Business Analyst. This position requires a strategic thinker with proven technical fluency, strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Cloud Solutions Architects, Engineers, and client stakeholders, to ensure technical project success and quality.This is a fully remote, full-time position conducted within the U.S. Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Product Strategy & Business Analysis• Serve as the technical product owner, managing and facilitating the entire epic lifecycle for new cloud services, migration phases, and architectural features. • Create and maintain technical product roadmaps aligned with the overall cloud architecture vision and client datacenter migration strategy. • Conduct in-depth requirements-gathering interviews with technical client stakeholders (e.g., IT Operations, Security) to translate needs into clear, unambiguous technical requirements and user stories.• Collaborate with Solutions Architects to assess and identify technical risks (security, scalability, integration) within the proposed multi-cloud solutions, escalating concerns for mitigation. • Maintain and document artifacts throughout the epic lifecycle, including architectural decision logs and technical requirements specifications. Agile Delivery & Technical Project Management• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with client requirements for deadlines and technical quality.• Facilitate all Agile sprint ceremonies (planning, daily standups, reviews, retrospectives) for engineering and architecture teams to ensure predictable delivery. • Proactively identify and remove technical roadblocks (e.g., environment access, tooling issues) to maintain the team's velocity and efficiency. • Manage the team's capacity and workload against planned deliverables, focusing on the timely deployment of prototypes and stable production systems. • Provide regular project status reports to client stakeholders, detailing budget, resource consumption, technical risks, and progress on integrations and migration tasks.• Ensure the team is appropriately staffed and on track to deliver scheduled technical work in multi-cloud environments. Team Leadership & Client Management• Lead and mentor project team members (engineers and developers) by guiding their execution of technical work and fostering a high-performing, collaborative team environment. • Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for project status, managing stakeholder expectations, and ensuring client satisfaction with technical deliverables.• Provide project oversight for activities focused on onboarding clients to new cloud environments and providing clear solution support after deployment. • Facilitate all sprint ceremonies (planning, daily standups, reviews, retrospectives) in accordance with agile development practices. • Remove roadblocks from the team's path to keep project work on track. • Manage the team's capacity against their workload to ensure a balanced effort in each sprint. • Provide regular project status reports to client stakeholders, including budget, resources, technical issues, and user testing results.• Ensure the team is appropriately staffed and on track to deliver scheduled work. QualificationsExperience• At least 7 years of experience in an Agile role with a minimum of 2-3 years directly applying agile development practices to technical, software, or cloud infrastructure projects. • Experience leading complex projects, including managing milestones, dependencies, and integrations within a cloud or datacenter migration context. • Proven experience working with Cloud Architects and Engineering teams as a cohesive unit to deliver technical solutions.• A track record of using agile frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe. • Experience with the use and management of ticketing and documentation systems (Jira, Confluence). • Prior experience in a hybrid Product Manager, Business Analyst, or Agile Delivery Manager role is highly valued. • Experience working on iterative projects using prototypes, product pilots, and user research. EducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Skills• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. • Strong organizational and time-management skills. • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy. Desired Skills• Experience with project management in a government context (state or federal). • Experience working on iterative projects using prototypes, product pilots, and user research. • Track record of introducing and expanding agile transformation and best practices. • Experience launching new production systems with high public visibility in a fast-changing regulatory environment.• Experience working with development teams building custom software. All work must be conducted within the U.S., excluding U.S. territories. Some federal & state contracts require U.S. citizenship to be eligible for employment.
