Staff Product Designer (Remote - New York)

We are seeking an experienced Staff Product Designer to lead the creation of intuitive and impactful product experiences for our Cards vertical. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales to translate user needs and business goals into innovative designs. You will influence product strategy, shape design systems, and deliver high-quality UX/UI solutions across multiple complex initiatives.The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, user-centered environment, has strong visual and systems-level design skills, and is passionate about improving accessibility and usability for diverse customer groups. This is a remote-friendly role with a preference for candidates in the New York area. Accountabilities:· Lead end-to-end design for multiple complex product initiatives, delivering both UX and UI solutions that enhance user adoption, conversion, and satisfaction. · Translate user research, customer feedback, and business goals into actionable design solutions and interactive prototypes.· Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of design systems and pattern libraries to ensure consistency and scalability across products. · Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and cross-functional teams to define product vision, roadmap, and strategy. · Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering professional growth and promoting a strong design culture. · Identify areas for product improvement and optimize usability, accessibility, and overall user experience. · Present and articulate design decisions clearly to diverse stakeholders, grounding recommendations in user insights, business objectives, and technical constraints.Requirements· Minimum of 8 years of experience in product design, with a strong focus on B2B or B2B2C products. · Proven ability to take features from ideation through to final delivery, including user research, usability testing, and collaboration with engineering. · Strong visual design skills with experience creating high-fidelity mockups and prototypes. · Systems-level thinking with the ability to design scalable solutions across multiple platforms. · Experience building or contributing to design systems and pattern libraries.· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey complex design concepts to cross-functional teams. · Bias toward action and ownership mentality, able to manage ambiguity while delivering end-to-end solutions. · Bonus: Experience in FinTech, particularly credit or risk-related products, and familiarity with consumer-permissioned data.
