[Remote] PHP Developer (LAMP stack)
Note:The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Ventrum is seeking a PHP Developer with expertise in the LAMP stack. The role involves migrating an existing LAMP stack application to a newer version, reviewing and testing PHP code, and updating operational documentation. Responsibilities• Project entails migrating existing, older LAMP stack application to newer LAMP stack version, reviewing and testing all PHP code and updating code as necessary to ensure application functionality works as expected.• Update operational runbooks as necessary for on-going operations and support of the application. Skills• 5 years of experience in LAMP stack development• Deep knowledge of Linux system administration specifically in the areas of secure LDAP/S directory services configuration, LDAP authentication, and OpenSSL• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git, SVN• Solid problem-solving skills to be able to troubleshoot complex application performance issues• Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills to be able to clearly explain and document technical concepts• Bachelors in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalentCompany Overview• Ventrum is one of the leading providers of Information Technology services and business solutions.It was founded in undefined, and is headquartered in San Jose, California, USA, with a workforce of 11-50 employees.
