[Remote] Sr. PHP Developer – Vue, LAMP, OWASP/App Security (US Citizen)

Peyton Resource Group is a staffing company with 20+ years of success in the industry, and they are seeking a remote PHP Developer to work on a scalable SaaS customer-facing web application. The role involves developing, testing, and maintaining the application within an enterprise-level LAMP stack environment. Responsibilities• Develop, test, and maintain a scalable, robust SaaS customer facing web application. Skills• MUST be a US Citizen• 8+ years of full stack software development experience in an enterprise environment• 5+ years of hands-on development experience using PHP and Vue.js in a LAMP environment with MySQL (MariaDB)• Skilled in web application, database development, and security related best practices in an AWS environment• Knowledge of application security or OWASP Top 10 and remediation options, and hands-on DDD development skills & experience• Significant and varied professional experience in leading SAAS and web applications especially at the enterprise level• Linux / Unix CLI experience is a huge plus, preferably Bash• Familiarity with alternative storage technologies and tools such as: Redis, OpenSearch (Elasticsearch) and Beanstalk/SQS/SNS• Experience in PHP frameworks like Laravel/Lumen or Symfony is a plus• 1+ year of experience with Docker or Podman• 1+ year of experience with software architecture and design• General understanding of security practices and threats as it pertains to web development• Familiar with design patterns and development practices• Deep understanding of Agile principles and processes• Ability to adapt with changing technologies & frameworks• Ability to learn new skills, tools, development kits, frameworks, etc.• Appreciation for well-documented code and website / web service security• West Coast is preferred, but will consider anywhere in the US• Significant and varied professional experience in leading SAAS and web applications especially at the enterprise level – a plus• Linux / Unix CLI experience is a huge plus, preferably Bash• Experience in PHP frameworks like Laravel/Lumen or Symfony is a plusCompany Overview• Peyton Resource Group is a staffing and recruiting company that offers contract, direct placement, and consulting services.It was founded in 2001, and is headquartered in Dallas, Texas, USA, with a workforce of 11-50 employees.
