The Information Security Analyst will be a key member of the Identity & Access Management (IAM) Governance team, supporting enterprise-wide security governance initiatives.This role focuses on ensuring adherence to security requirements and best practices, driving risk reduction, and providing oversight across IAM governance processes. The analyst will contribute to planning, executing, and managing security projects related to risk management, hygiene, mitigation, compliance, control assurance, and user awareness. This individual will play a critical part in safeguarding the organization’s infrastructure and information assets. Primary Duties & Responsibilities• Support the development and maintenance of IAM Governance processes, procedures, and documentation.• Review control documents, prepare assessment materials, coordinate meetings, and track findings from discovery through remediation. • Analyze business processes and requirements to ensure alignment with security policies and standards. • Follow up on security deficiencies identified through monitoring, assessments, and audits to verify timely and effective remediation. • Assist with updates to security policies, control standards, and control procedures. • Contribute to one or more security hygiene or governance-related projects; manage assigned tasks through the full project lifecycle.• Perform security monitoring and reporting activities; analyze security alerts and elevate as appropriate. • Identify root causes of security-related issues and collaborate with internal teams to resolve them. • Partner with technical and business teams to address risks identified through internal or third‑party tools. • Support service‑level agreements (SLAs) to ensure security controls are developed, managed, and maintained effectively. • Conduct control testing and provide governance oversight for IAM‑related controls.• Develop security recommendations and solutions for moderately complex assignments. • Provide guidance to business stakeholders on secure process design and IAM governance standards. Experience & Educational Requirements• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field—or equivalent experience. • 3–5 years of experience in Information Security, IAM Governance, or GRC. • Preferred: Security certifications such as CISM, CISSP, CISA, CRISC, or similar. Minimum Skills & Qualifications• Hands‑on experience in IAM Access Control, IAM Governance, or Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC).• Intermediate proficiency with bolthires Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, formulas, etc.). • Understanding of IAM concepts including least privilege, Privileged Access Management (PAM), Service Account Management, Access Reviews, and Password Management. • Strong knowledge of information security principles, controls, and risk implications across multiple platforms. • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving abilities. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment. • Familiarity with at least one common security framework or standard such as ISO 27001/27002, COBIT, ITIL, NIST, or PCI.
