You’ll manage and grow a portfolio of shippers, develop new business, and make sure every shipment runs smoothly from quote to delivery.What You’ll Do:• Manage Key Accounts: Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, ensuring consistent communication and satisfaction. • GrowYour Book of Business: Prospect and convert new shippers while expanding business with existing ones. • Provide Solutions: Offer customized expedited freight options (sprinter vans, box trucks, last-mile delivery) that meet customer timelines. • HitYour Numbers: Consistently meet or exceed revenue and growth targets through smart account planning and execution.• Work Cross-Functionally: Collaborate with dispatch and operations to ensure flawless execution and proactive updates. • Upsell & Cross-Sell: Find opportunities to maximize revenue and improve customer efficiency. What Makes You a Great Fit:• Logistics Experience Required: You have a solid understanding of freight, shipping processes, and customer expectations in logistics. • B2B Sales or Account ManagementExperience: Minimum 1–3 years managing accounts or selling services. • Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment. • Goal-driven and highly organized — you know how to manage your pipeline and stay on top of priorities. Skills & Competencies:• Deep understanding of logistics and transportation terminology. • Proficient with CRM software, quoting tools, and remote collaboration platforms (Zoom, Slack, etc.). • Commercially savvy — you know how to align solutions with customer needs and generate profit. • Comfortable working with numbers, rates, and margin calculations.• Proactive problem-solver who takes initiative and delivers results.
