Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of international and domestic regulations for the transportation of dangerous goods. Analyze and interpret data related to the transportation of hazardous materials to identify potential risks and areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies and procedures for safe and compliant transportation of dangerous goods.Monitor and track shipments of hazardous materials to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies. Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify compliance and identify any potential issues. Provide training and support to employees involved in the transportation of dangerous goods. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in regulations to ensure 3M's practices remain current and compliant. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as carriers and regulatory agencies, to facilitate safe and efficient transportation of hazardous materials.Act as a subject matter expert on dangerous goods transportation, providing guidance and support to other departments and stakeholders. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to enhance safety and efficiency in the transportation of dangerous goods. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the transportation of hazardous materials. Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding any incidents or non-compliance issues and assist with remediation efforts.Adhere to 3M's values and ethics, promoting a culture of safety and responsibility in all transportation activities. Represent 3M at industry conferences and events to share best practices and stay current on industry developments.
