Chief Operating Officer (Sprint to MVP)
Mission: Orchestrate day-to-day delivery from design freeze → prototype → test → certification pack; keep the company “run” functions tight (docs, SOPs, budget, website/brand alignment) while we focus on the build. Key deliverables (by May 15):Integrated Program Plan with weekly cadence: scope, timeline, budget/burn, risks, and dependencies (Bay Innovators, test labs, suppliers). Certification Plan & Dossier: map Paradigm Performance Standards to UL 12402 and USCG pathways; assemble evidence, reports, and submission artifacts for a new-category filing.MVP Documentation set: design history file, test plans/results, traceability to safety/performance claims, supplier quality files. Operating system: SOPs, issue/risk register, supplier scorecards, EVT/DVT/PVT-style gates; weekly executive readout. Go-to-market readiness: coordinate 90-day marketing prep, ensure website mirrors progress and positioning. Tools: fluency with ChatGPT and other AI tools for documentation, research, and scheduling. Qualifications:Hardware/soft-goods product ops from prototype to cert; PM discipline (PMP a plus).Familiarity with UL 12402 and USCG approval pathways. Supplier management, cost/bom control, and stage-gate execution.
