Join M&T Bank’s 10-week hybrid summer internship in Radnor, PA, focused on professional development and career growth in Wealth Markets. Your RoleHere’s what you will be doing:• Complete duties and responsibilities of an entry-level professional nature specific to assigned area of the Bank. • Ensure activities adhere to established internal policies and external regulations as applicable. • Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite.• Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management. • Design, implement, maintain, and enhance internal controls to mitigate risk on an ongoing basis. • Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand. • Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points and issues raised by external regulators. • Complete other related duties as assigned. About YouThe company is looking for:• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Demonstrated computer skills• Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented• Work visa sponsorship not offered for this roleCompensation & Benefits• Pay range: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour, based on knowledge, skills, and experience• Pay rate specific to location within the stated rangeTraining & DevelopmentSummer Interns participate in projects and department initiatives that accelerate career growth, gain exposure to other departments through guest speakers and industry leaders, and build a network with peers.Career ProgressionInterns receive priority consideration for full-time opportunities throughout the Bank.
