SVP Compliance
DescriptionSVP Compliance will be responsible for developing, managing, and enhancing compliance framework across the United States and internationally. This role requires an experienced leader with strong legal and regulatory expertise, the ability to manage and inspire teams, and the willingness to be hands-on in addressing both strategic and operational compliance matters. SVP Compliance responsibilities include strengthening internal controls, reviewing and maintaining compliance policies and procedures, overseeing various types of monitoring, overseeing the drafting and submitting regulatory reports, managing the completion of regulatory examinations and related document requests, interacting with internal and external stakeholders regarding compliance matters and identifying and implementing improvements to and enhancing the efficiency of ICAT’s compliance program and operations.Essential Duties And Responsibilities• Provide strategic direction and leadership to compliance function worldwide, maintaining consistency across jurisdictions while adapting to local regulatory requirements• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive compliance program in alignment with federal, state, and local regulations, including but not limited to the DOJ Guidance for Effective and Robust Compliance Programs• Design, implement, and continuously improve global compliance programs, policies, and procedures that promote ethical conduct and mitigate compliance risks• Review, refine and strengthen internal compliance controls and suggest improvements to controls managed by other internal control functions• Source, Implement and manage Risk Management System (RMS) to ensure organizational compliance through the use of technology• Identify, assess, and manage compliance risks across all operations, managing proactive responses to regulatory changes and industry developments• Oversee the compliance program and identify any additional areas to be monitored• Guide operations teams in managing compliance incidents and remediating root causes• Interpret and operationalize regulatory requirements and changes• Support the execution of Compliance department initiatives, including audit readiness, documentation improvements, and operational projects• Provide strategic direction and leadership to the compliance team, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and regulatory requirements• Embrace and implement opportunities to rethink how Compliance services are provided, focusing internal expertise on complex, high value matters, and automating, streamlining, or outsourcing high-volume, lower complexity matters, and using data to drive continuous improvement in services• Develop and deliver training programs to ensure that employees are aware of compliance policies and procedures, inputting all in-scope compliance policies and procedures into the enterprise training matrix• Monitor and stay abreast of changes in global regulations and industry best practices, adapting the compliance program as needed.• Perform other duties as assigned• This role is hybrid in the greater Phoenix, AZ area.
