Project Overview USA Restaurant Suppliers is expanding its e-commerce channel for commercial kitchen equipment. Compliance foundations are set. We now need a seasoned professional to accelerate organic and Google Shopping performance and leave long-established competitors behind. Scope of Work • Perform a comprehensive site audit covering technical SEO, on-page elements, structured data, and Google Merchant Center (GMC) feeds • Provide a comparative SEO audit of our three leading competitors, outlining their strengths, weaknesses, and clear opportunity gaps • Rewrite and optimize product titles, meta descriptions, tags, alt text, and internal linking for thousands of SKUs • Resolve GMC disapprovals, misclassifications, and feed errors to secure maximum product visibility • Design and run data-driven tests (copy, imagery, schema) that lift click-through rate and conversions • Deliver a prioritized 90-day roadmap with effort estimates, projected impact, and measurable KPIs Required Experience • Demonstrated success managing SEO for Shopify Plus catalogs of 10000+ items • Proven track record boosting ranking and revenue through Google Merchant Center optimization • Deep knowledge of how Shopify apps, Liquid customizations, and marketplace integrations affect SEO and GMC feeds • Experience applying automation or scripted solutions to maintain feed accuracy amid frequent catalog changes Preferred Qualifications • Background in B2B or industrial e-commerce, ideally in industries that target restaurants and hospitality concepts • Marketplace expertise (Amazon, eBay, etc.) with the ability to transfer insights to Google Shopping • Strong communication skills, translating technical findings into clear business recommendations Deliverables 1.Competitor SEO report – analysis of our three biggest rivals, highlighting what they do well, where they fall short, and the best opportunities for us 2. Concise site audit report with issues ranked by effort versus ROI 3. Implementation or detailed guidance for high-priority fixes 4.
