Role:Senior/Lead Data EngineerTitle: AVP/VPLocation:Alpharetta, GA (Day 1 Onsite/Hybrid) FulltimeMode of Work: 3 days/week onsite requiredRequiredExperience: 6- 12+ yearsWe are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and big-data systems.The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on skills in SQL, Python, and modern data engineering tools, with the ability to contribute to architecture, performance tuning, and advanced data governance depending on experience level. Key Responsibilities:• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for batch and real-time processing. • Work with distributed data processing tools such as Spark and Hive. • Build and orchestrate workflows using Airflow or equivalent orchestration tools. • Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across all systems.• Optimize queries and pipelines for high performance and scalability. • Contribute to big data architecture design and implementation. • Lead performance tuning efforts for large-scale data systems. • Implement and support data governance, security, and compliance practices. • Explore and integrate AI-driven data processing methods where applicable. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including analytics, BI, and data science.
