Job title:Senior Treasury AnalystCompany: WhitingJob description: Position SummaryThe Sr. Treasury Analyst will assist with a wide variety of cash management duties across multiple payment systems. The ideal candidate is a fast learner, demonstrates initiative, and takes responsibility. The position requires ongoing and clear communication across many groups, including various accounting departments, the field offices, and 3rd party service providers. This individual will be located in our downtown Houston office as a part of the Finance department.No relocation benefits offered. Essential Job FunctionsThis individual will be responsible for daily performance of a variety of daily/weekly duties including:Daily cash forecasting, liquidity management, reporting & reconciliationsCredit facility maintenance, debt and interest paymentsManual wire and check payments, batch payments for operations/revenue, etc. Fleet & purchasing card programBank account administration, including opening and closing accounts, account analysis, and associated controlsPrepare & maintain various reports for treasury and insurance purposesIdentify and implement controls and process improvementsAssist with internal & external audit requestsParticipate in special projects as neededMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree5+ years of Treasury Operations experienceExcellent written & verbal communication skillsCapability to balance/track competing priorities and shift attention quicklySkills to work effectively with all levels of the organization and outside vendorsTeam player, strong work ethic, fast learner, attention to detail, critical thinkingSolid experience with MS Excel & WordAbility to meet deadlinesPhysical Requirements and Working Conditions: Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer, stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, strength to lift and carry files weighing up to 10 pounds; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance or AccountingOil & Gas experienceEEO Statement:Chord Energy does not discriminate in employment on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy and gender identity), national origin, political affiliation, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, genetic information, age, membership in an employee organization, retaliation, parental status, military service, or other non-merit factor.
