Job TitleTransportation Systems Planner – Mobility & Long-Range PlanningJob Description:The Transportation Systems Planner will design, simulate, and optimize multimodal transportation networks across New York's evolving transit infrastructure.You’ll support long-range planning, policy modeling, and investment optimization. Key Responsibilities:• Develop integrated transportation models and simulations. • Analyze and recommend policy changes for mobility improvements. • Prepare scenario-based funding and investment models. • Conduct demand forecasting and ridership analytics. • Engage with agencies on strategic transportation planning initiatives. Qualifications:• Master’s in Urban Planning, Transportation Engineering, or equivalent. Experience:• 5+ years in transportation or transit planning.Skills:• VISSIM, Synchro, Visum, TransCAD• Policy analysis and long-range plan development• GIS-based transit planning• Strong stakeholder communicationCertifications (Preferred):• AICP (American Institute of Certified Planners)• PTP (Professional Transportation Planner)If you are passionate about making a positive impact on the environment and have the skills to drive sustainable solutions, we invite you to apply to at AZH Consulting!
