Pay, Schedule, Location• $85,000 - $95,000/year• 8 am - 4:30 pm• Remote (Nationwide, Travel Required & Need to Reside in California)Duties and Responsibilities• Directly manage, mentor, and develop a team of 10+ logistics professionals located throughout the United States, ensuring effective collaboration and performance across different time zones• Vendor & Broker Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors• Oversee a large-scale broker network and ensure dedicated carriers maintain capacity for growth• Serve as the primary logistics contact for Trader Joe’s, providing timely communication, resolving issues, and ensuring high satisfaction• Collaborate with Logistics and Service Center Managers to drive continuous process improvement and implement best practices across all locations• Establish and monitor KPIs and metrics, lead quarterly performance reviews, and foster skill development within the team• Oversee planning, unloading, and merchandising of inbound shipments• Utilize tracking technologies for real-time shipment monitoring and timely delivery• Analyze and optimize shipping routes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency• Prepare financial and management reports, present industry rate trends, and align logistics operations with business objectives• Ensure all operations adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards, including OSHARequirements and Qualifications• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in logistics management, with a focus on inbound operations, broker network oversight, and team leadership across multiple time zones• This role requires frequent travel across the U.S.andwork flexible hours, including weekends and holiday• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered• Demonstrated leadership in managing and developing diverse teams• Strategic thinker with strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics-specific systems (TMW, WMS, Road• Net TMS, Truckmate, PC Miler, Qualcomm GPS, Load Boards, Freight Calculators—--(Salary range based on experience)—--ABOUT ACCURATE PERSONNELDo you need your next job fast?Accurate Personnel is here to help!
