[Remote] North American Sales Manager, Short Range

Note:The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Quectel is focused on driving growth in the Short Range business across North America. The North American Sales Manager will work closely with regional sales teams to expand the customer base by targeting competitor accounts and managing existing relationships. Responsibilities• Investigate publicly available information on prospective customers that currently use competitors’ modules (competitor accounts) and actively grow sales funnel with the assistance of sales and marketing colleagues and industry ecosystem partners• Qualify and reach out to leads to set roadmap meetings, introduce Quectel’s portfolio, and organize next steps which include sending an evaluation kit and a price quote• Maintain Short Range funnel of prospective customers and ensure they move through the sales process of Customer Acquisition, Technical Evaluation, and Design Win• Work cross-functionally with management, sales, product management and R&D to support customer requirements and new market verticals.• Assist in managing key Short Range partners within North America. Acts as a point of contact for existing and potential customers within assigned territorySkills• Existing Sales experience is a must. • Dynamic, self motivated, hard working professional who thrives in a very fast paced environment. • Must have sense of urgency in all aspects of daily job. • Strong oral, written, presentation and interpersonal skills. • Bachelor degree in engineering preferred but not required. • Wi-Fi or Bluetooth experience is a plus.• Salesforce, Sales Funnels, Sales Cycle understanding a plus.
