[Remote] Junior Backend Java Developer (L2S, H4 EAD, EAD GC, GC and US Citizens)- Career Break Acceptable

Precision Technologies is hiring a Junior Backend Java Developer with 3+ years of experience for their direct clients and implementation partners. The role involves backend application development using Core Java and designing RESTful APIs, while also requiring a good understanding of microservices architecture and database management. Responsibilities• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in backend application development using Core Java, Java 8+, and J2EE technologies.• Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs and backend services using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and related Spring modules. • Good understanding of microservices architecture, service-to-service communication, and API integration patterns. • Practical experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, or similar, including writing and optimizing queries. • Working knowledge of Hibernate/JPA for ORM and database interaction. • Experience integrating third-party APIs and working with JSON/XML, HTTP, and REST principles.• Familiarity with message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ is a plus. • Hands-on experience with unit testing using JUnit, Mockito, or TestNG. • Proficiency in using Git, build tools such as Maven/Gradle, and understanding of version control best practices. • Exposure to bolthires/CD pipelines and build/deployment automation using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools. • Basic understanding of Docker and containerized application development (Kubernetes exposure is a plus). • Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is an advantage (EC2, S3, CloudWatch, or similar services).• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills using logs, monitoring tools, and IDE-level debugging.
