[Remote] Finance Manager, Health

The Finance Manager, Health will own and elevate the Health finance team, driving financial performance and operational efficiency while partnering with various teams to enhance transparency and forecasting accuracy. Responsibilities• Own financial management for the health business, including order economics, pricing strategy, and payer mix optimization• Build and scale processes to support the growing health business, establishing frameworks where none exist today• Lead the exploration and development of Babylist's pricing strategy for 2026, including research into pricing tools, competitive analysis, and recommendation of strategic direction• Drive improvements in data quality and deliver actionable insights that inform leadership and drive measurable business outcomes• Partner closely with cross functional teams to optimize pricing and connect health offerings to the registry base• Deliver accurate financial models, forecasts, and business insights that influence strategic decision-making• Prepare monthly business reviews highlighting key insights on sales, margins, and trends—connecting financial data to actionable business outcomes• Ensure data integrity of key metrics through collaboration with Data team• Prepare financial reporting including dashboards, KPI tracking, and executive-level variance analysis• Design and implement reporting frameworks to enhance operational transparency• Support board presentations, long-range planning, and other critical business requestsSkills• 7+ years of FP&A experience in high-growth consumer technology, e-commerce or health• Proven ability to build and scale financial processes, such as forecasting models and weekly pacing, from the ground up, particularly in high-growth environments• Experience in both private and public companies highly valued• Strong analytical rigor with advanced financial modeling skills and ability to work with imperfect data to drive improvements• Excellent communication and data visualization skills to translate complex financial insights for cross-functional partners and executives• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Netsuite, and Business Intelligence tools like Sigma.SQL is a plus. • Demonstrated expertise in synthesizing large datasets from business intelligence platforms and financial systems to enable data-driven planning and monitoring• Experience with pricing analysis and strategy development, including competitive positioning and price elasticity modeling• Strategic thinker who can unlock action from insights and influence business decisions• Comfortable and enthusiastic about working in an AI-forward environment• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance or related field; MBA preferred• Bonus!Health industry experience with payer/insurance modelsBenefits• Company-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance• Retirement savings plan with company matching and flexible spending accounts• Generous paid parental leave and PTO• Remote work stipend to set up your office• Perks for physical, mental, and emotional health, parenting, childcare, and financial planningCompany Overview• Babylist is an online platform that offers baby registry for expecting parents and products such as toys, baby care, and clothing.It was founded in 2011, and is headquartered in Emeryville, California, USA, with a workforce of 201-500 employees.
