[Remote] Data Visualization Specialist – Analytics & Reporting

TISTA Science and Technology Corporation is seeking a Data Visualization Specialist to design and deliver intuitive dashboards and performance metrics. The role focuses on supporting analytics, reporting, and leadership decision-making through effective data visualization tools. Responsibilities• Design dashboards and visualization tools that present complex data in clear, actionable formats• Develop performance metrics and reporting solutions for leadership and operational teams• Ensure usability, clarity, and compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards• Support leadership briefings and create compelling communication materials using data-driven insightsSkills• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in data visualization, dashboard design, or business intelligence• Proficiency with visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik• Strong understanding of accessibility standards (Section 508) and user-centered design principles• Ability to translate complex datasets into intuitive, interactive visualizations• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accessibility compliance• Excellent communication skills for presenting insights to technical and non-technical audiences• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Graphic Design, or related field• The ability to pass a Tier 2/Modest Background Investigation• Experience supporting federal programs or large-scale analytics initiatives• Certifications in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) or UX/UI designCompany Overview• TISTA is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOB) and trusted partner of innovative IT solutions for the federal government.It was founded in 2005, and is headquartered in Rockville, Maryland, USA, with a workforce of 1001-5000 employees.
