Project Management Officer (PMO)

The duties of the Project Management Officer will include assisting the Project Manager during client meetings, tracking and managing client documents and schedules, creation of agendas, PowerPoint slides, and templates along with spec building and status updates relating to the management of company staff. Duties will also include assisting the Project Manager with scope and survey design and capturing high priority details during internal and external meetings and contract-related matters. Responsibilities:• Maintain verbal and written communication with clients, internal team, and lead Project Manager• Update high priority documents and reports• Creation of templates, PowerPoint slides, folders, documents, and Jira and e-mail lists• Design surveys and build specs• Analyze scopes, prototypes, demo sites and documents received by the client• Ensure documents, reports, lists, and other high priority items are updated and communicated to the management• Plan and execute tasks related to client meetings such as meeting schedules, agenda design, keeping meeting on track with agenda, note taking, and reminders of items to be reviewed• Aid in organizing development of project to ensure timely completion• Accurately document the projection’s creation, development, and executionRequired Skills:• Superior oral and written communication skills• An above average eye for detail• Good research skills and resourcefulness in approaching on line research• bolthires Office including advanced skills in MS Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelPreferred Additional Skills:• Previous experience with project management is a plus, though not required• Basic knowledge of macros, pivot tables and programming formulas in excel is a plus, though not required• Some familiarity with the software development life-cycle is a plus, though not requiredPersonal Characteristics:Our company values the person just as much if not more than the technical skill sets.• Honesty• Integrity• Takes pride in work produced• Self-management skills• Proactive communication• "Whatever it takes" attitude• Helps others when they are in need• Ability to set and maintain realistic expectations• Team player• Creativity• Ability to think “Outside of the Box”Additional Information:• Applications for this Project Management Officer position must be prepared to commit to a regular schedule of 40 hours per week• Cover letter, writing sample, and resume are required• Samples of relevant project work may be submitted, but are not required.This will help us in evaluating your applicationRDE Systems is a small technology company located in Little Falls, New Jersey.
