ITC is seeking a Program Manager to be a member of our LESIS team supporting our customer at the Department of Justice.This individual will support a new project for the organization in establishing a National Law Enforcement Accountability Database as a centralized repository of official records documenting instances of law enforcement officer misconduct as well as commendations and awards. Department of Justice (DOJ) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) Law Enforcement Services and Information Sharing (LESIS) Section serves as the FBI Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Systems Agency (CSA) for hundreds of DOJ, as well as other Federal and Tribal public safety agencies and entities.It is responsible for establishing and administering an information technology security program across its User Agencies while providing the technical capabilities to access national crime information systems for authorized criminal and non-criminal justice purposes. RESPONSIBILITIES:• Execute Working Group governance meetings - ensure that information regarding decisions, action items and issues needing resolution are up-to-date and accurate• Distill, schedule, and track project tasks and activities, utilizing Agile or other methodologies as appropriate• Manage and communicate Working Group standard operating procedures• Communicate inter-Working Group issues and action items with other PMO coordinators• Develop program documentation, build out an NLEAD Information Library, an Implementation Guidance toolkit, etc.• Support on-boarding of and coordination with more than one hundred federal agencies who will use NLEADREQUIRED:• 10+ years of related professional experience• Bachelors Degree, required; advanced degree preferred• Ability to develop/edit project presentations and planning documentation for senior Government staff. • Excellent organizational and time management skills• Comfortable working in an ill defined workspace (not a clear scope) i.e. helping to build out a new program/processes• Prior Law Enforcement exposure or familiarity with federal/state law enforcement or DOJ IT program exposure, preferred• Prior Human Resources program exposure, preferred• Project ManagementProfessional (PMP) certification or HR related certifications preferred• Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks and priorities• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management• Proficiency in project management tools and software i.e.Microsoft Project, strongly preferredSECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:• Ability to obtain a DOJ public trust clearance; candidate selected will be subject to a Government Public Trust security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to the customer's Current clearance is not required, but selected individual cannot start the assignment until the required security clearance is granted by the customer.
