Title: Oracle WACS Functional ConsultantLocation:Remote with some travel to San Antonio, TXDuration: 15-18 monthsJob Description: seeking an experienced Oracle WACS Functional Consultant to lead the implementation of Oracle Work and Asset Cloud Service (WACS). The ideal candidate will serve as a functional lead responsible for gathering business requirements, designing solutions, and driving hands-on configuration and deployment. This role demands a strong understanding of asset lifecycle processes, cross-functional collaboration, and client-facing delivery in Oracle Cloud environments.Key Responsibilities: Lead the functional implementation of Oracle WACS, from initial discovery to post-go-live support. Gather and analyze business requirements related to asset management, maintenance, procurement, and resource scheduling. Design and document functional solutions that align with business needs and Oracle Cloud best practices. Configure Oracle WACS modules, including asset acquisition, preventive/corrective maintenance, and work order management. Support full asset lifecycle processes, from acquisition to retirement/disposal.Collaborate with technical teams to define and implement integrations between WACS and related systems (Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain). Lead functional testing, validation, and troubleshooting activities. Develop and maintain functional documentation, including configuration guides, process flows, and test cases. Assist with data migration, cleansing, and master data governance activities. Provide training and support to end-users during UAT and post-go-live phases. Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure functional alignment.Requirements: 3 5 years of experience with Oracle Cloud, including hands-on expertise with Oracle WACS (Work and Asset Cloud Service). Strong background in functional consulting, including requirements gathering, process design, and system configuration. Proven experience in asset tracking, maintenance execution, procurement integration, and work order lifecycle management. Familiarity with Oracle Cloud integration tools and reporting capabilities. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.Ability to work in a client-facing, high-travel environment. Bachelor's degree required.
