Company DescriptionThe New York Auto Museum, is a proposed modern 150-000-200,000+ square-foot facility in Manhattan, is designed to redefine the concept of an automotive museum. With innovative features such as glass floors and a rooftop patio, visitors can admire vehicles from unique perspectives, including views of their undersides. The museum offers an interactive experience, allowing guests to sit in up to 50 historic vehicles at any given time, making it a must-visit destination for automotive enthusiasts and the general public alike.Role DescriptionThis is a part-time remote position for Nonprofit Leaders & Educators at the New York Auto Museums nonprofit arm the New York Auto Experience Inc. (www.newyorkautoexperience.org). The role may involve joining the Board of Directors and developing engaging lesson plans, delivering educational programs, training team members, and conducting interactive teaching sessions. Responsibilities also include organizing educational initiatives, fostering meaningful connections with diverse audiences, and maintaining the museum’s mission to inspire and educate through automotive history.Qualifications• Strong skills in Lesson Planning and Education to develop engaging and effective learning content• Proficiency in Teaching and Training to conduct interactive sessions and lead educational activities• Effective Communication skills to connect with diverse audiences and collaborate with teammates• Passion for history, museums, or the automotive industry is a strong plus• Ability to work independently in a remote environment• Bachelor’s degree in Education, History, Communications, or a related field preferred Apply tot his job
