Job Type: TeachingDate Posted: Dec 1, 2025Location: Online/RemoteStart Date: TBDDuration: TBDWe are currently seeking an MRI Didactic Instructor, Part-time (Remote and Online) for our A.S. in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Program. Hourly Pay Range: $43.00-50/hourThe primary function of the Didactic Instructor is to teach classes according to the assigned schedule in an asynchronous or synchronous format. Instructors will interact with students via live lectures, tutoring, discussion forums, and assignments.The instructor will evaluate student progress and assist with student growth and success in the program. Didactic Instructor can be broken into 3 categories – preparation for class, classroom management, and educational administrative tasks. Within these categories it needs to be highlighted that the instructors job is to ensure students are properly prepared to take each test or examination, prepare in advance, each days instructional plan and any necessary supporting classroom materials. Student management also includes involvement to ensure satisfactory academic progress is being maintained (as well as the assignment of appropriate tutoring support) and that student marks, attendance, remediation documentation, and other reprimands are all kept up to date.Instructor evaluation, educational in-service plans, evaluations (student and managerial), goal setting, and reprimands are also kept up to date. It is important that the Didactic Instructor has an understanding of how to keep students motivated while ensuring the expected standards of the profession, through appropriate counseling. Requirements• Must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree. • Strong organizational skills• Proficiency in Google Suite• Possession of current MRI Technologist credential & AART Certified• Expertise in interpersonal and oral presentation/written communication skills, as demonstrated by: data sheet, diplomas, degrees, transcripts, certifications, CVs/Resumes, and in personal interview• Have a minimum of 3 years experience as an MRI Technologist at an imaging facility/hospital/clinic• Graduation from an accredited program in the specialty field or subject area.Additionally, the clinical coordinator possesses two (2) years of occupational (i.e., practical) experience in the subject field in which they teach• Preferred, 1 year experience teaching in a MRI-accredited programGurnick Academy is a leading Bay Area private healthcare college offering an extensive variety of nursing and allied healthcare programs such as: Vocational Nurse, and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN pathway) as well as Medical Assistant, Dental Assistant and healthcare programs: Associate of Science in Physical Therapist Assistant, Nuclear Medicine Technology, Ultrasound Technology, MRI, Radiologic Technology, and Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Medical Imaging.Apply tot his job
