Position : Financial Analyst/Accountant -Remote (Strong Inventory /Cost accounting, JDE or SAP, General Ledger & Balance Sheet)Location : Warwick, RIDuration : 12 MonthsTotal Hours/week : 40.001st ShiftClient: Medical Device CompanyJob Category: Accounting/FinanceLevel ofExperience: Mid-LevelEmployment Type: Contract on W2 (Need US Citizens or GC Holders Only)Noteremote worker must commit to east coast hoursMust HaveJDE or SAPStrong Inventory /Cost accountingGeneral Ledger, Forecasting, Balance Sheet, for the surgical unitJob Description• Support plant finance function within Operation finance.Collaborate with cost center & plant manager, functional leaders & Finance Business Partners in developing annual budgets/quarterly projections, including clear documentation of assumptions & posting in JDE ERP System. • Own cost accounting function for manufacturing plants. • Record month-end journal entries (accruals, reclasses, charge in/outs, & prepaid amortization) for all cost centers supported; ensure accurate reporting of financial results in JDE. • Analyze financial variances for cost center actuals, projections, and budget.• Compile Month-End Balance Sheet account reconciliations. • Support inventory accounting and inventory reserve analysis. • Ad-hoc analytical support for cost center managers on an as-needed basis. • Provide project support for continuous improvement for the group as a whole. • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting. 2+ years of experience - Financial analysis / Accounting. • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. • Ability to work in a face-paced, challenging environment, strong attention to detail.• Self-driven, proactive, and seeks continuous improvement.
