What We Are Looking ForThe HR Business Partner (HRBP) is a highly skilled and highly motivated HR professional to. As an HRBP, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between management and employees. You will wear many hats in the People and Talent Department. You will report directly to the Head of People & Talent to execute strategies that foster an environment that is highly productive, meaningful, inclusive, and enjoyable for all.You will work closely with all departments to align the business objectives, create our people strategy, support building a culture of excellence and recruit top talent. The HRBP will be responsible for overseeing the HR functions related to talent management, administrative functions of recruiting, onboarding, performance management, employee relations and other HR-related strategic tasks. Role: On-site (In person at office)Location: Houston, TXWhat You Will DoTalent Management• In coordination with hiring manager develop job descriptions, job summaries, and prepare postings.• Assist the Head of People & Talent to execute talent acquisition and recruitment strategies including job postings, pre-screening questions, scheduling candidate interviews, pre-hire testing, and communication with candidates. • Source and recruit candidates based on the job persona using databases, social media, LinkedIn, networks, and other tools. • Provide initial screening of applicant pools, as well as phone screens or interviews where applicable. • Conduct interviews using various recruiting and selection criteria.• Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process. • Support leaders in the selection process to ensure a best fit for both the candidate and the organization. • Develop a talent pipeline specifically for frequently filled positions as well as hard-to-fill positions that require specific expertise. • Provide consultation and training to hiring managers regarding recruitment, talent management and selection processes as well as interviewing. Performance Management• In partnership with the Head of People & Talent support the performance management program, to include coordination of performance appraisals, staff training, and individual staff development.• Ensure effective feedback mechanisms are in place to improve employee performance. • Support the Head of People and Talent with employee relations including providing general HR support to employees. • Organize and support employee onboarding, retention and help organize training & development initiatives. • Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise. • Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee engagement, and turnover rates.• Support the organization changes by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions. • Support the organization’s performance management program, to include coordination of performance appraisals, staff training, and individual staff development. • Track and administer staff work anniversary and birthday recognition. • Conduct exit interviews and work with Head of People & Talent to make actionable recommendations based on data. HR Strategic InitiativesPerform additional HRBP-related duties as needed and assigned.Identify and drive the sharing of best practices across the organization to facilitate continuous improvement. Drive HR Strategy: Work closely with leadership to develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy that aligns with the organization's mission, vision, and strategic goals. Change Management: Lead change management initiatives related to HR, acting as a change agent to support a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Succession Planning: Develop and implement a succession planning program, identifying high-potential employees and providing them with targeted development opportunities.What You BringBachelor’s Degree required4+ years’ experience as a HR Business Partner supporting recruitment, human resources processes, and performance managementExperience working as an HR professional with remote employees and international locations preferredAbility and willingness to learn about the position requirements and experience writing job descriptionsExperience in candidate profiling and deep dive into business functional needsExperience in talent management, performance management, recruitment marketing, sourcing strategies, and employee relations.High degree of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and strong analytical abilities.
