TheSenior Product Designer will play a key role in driving Southwest?s financial technology initiatives, including advancing the transition from the HANA Suite to S4HANA/Cloud. This position is ideal for a skilled communicator and problem-solver passionate about creating impactful solutions in a collaborative, agile environment.Responsibilities Develop and implement innovative solutions/products in collaboration with agile teams. Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions aligned with organizational goals. Define and execute product roadmaps, addressing complex user needs and resolutions. Provide insights and feedback to improve product design, leveraging end-user perspectives. Lead efforts in examining and optimizing the design, construction, and implementation of products. Manage the lifecycle of product features, from concept to execution, including backlog prioritization and stakeholder communication.Translate complex problems into actionable plans, identifying and mitigating risks throughout the process. Coach and mentor team members, including Product Owners and Scrum Masters, to ensure effective delivery. Collaborate cross-functionally to develop user stories, conduct reviews, and present demos. Monitor and report risks, challenges, and opportunities, ensuring timely solutions. Qualifications Experience & Skills Proven ability to make informed decisions about technology solutions that meet market demands.Strong troubleshooting skills to address and resolve technical and operational issues. Ability to focus on capacity, commercial value, and resource management while addressing risks and opportunities. Excellent problem-solving, risk management, and decision-making skills. Solid understanding of market trends and trade experiences to bring innovative products to market. Expertise in agile methodologies, including Scrum practices and principles. Proficiency in tools such as SAP, Jira, and POS systems. Education Required: College degree or equivalent (GED).Preferred: Bachelor?s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Requirements U.S. Citizenship or current authorization to work in the U.S. Ability to travel occasionally for training, meetings, and conferences. Remote work eligible, though certain states (e.g., Alaska, Delaware, New Jersey, etc.) may not qualify for remote employment.
