Field Service Network Administrator
Join our Toyota Material Handling Team as a Field Service Technical Specialist! TheRole:We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Field Service Technical Specialist who brings technical knowledge and expertise to the table. In this role, you’ll provide engineering and technical support for iWarehouse products while collaborating with a dynamic and diverse team to achieve shared goals. If you enjoy tackling challenges with positivity and a bit of humor, you’ll feel right at home here.What You’ll Be Doing:• Be involved with new development projects as a field representative to understand impacts of new development activities on existing product lines as well as how new products will be supported once available to the field. • Collaborate with cross functional teams, including product development and engineering to incorporate user feedback and insights into product enhancements and updates. • Diagnose technical problems, investigate root causes, and provide accurate solutions to ensure customer systems operate smoothly.• Review and provide technical and professional feedback on technical publication documents and training programs• Creates and updates Standard Work Documentation• Provide updates and insights to new development efforts to field support teams• Act as initial subject matter expert on engineering development efforts and guides learning of field support teams• Interact with customers and Solutions and Support Centers to garnish feedback on products• Provide training to other employees, support centers, technicians, and customers.• Analyze data from iWAREHOUSE® systems to identify trends and troubleshooting stepsWhat We’re Looking For:• Associate’s Degree in Engineering or Technical discipline preferred. Alternative degrees or extensive work experience in relevant industries will be considered. • ASE certification or technical training in hydraulics, electrical systems, engines and drivetrains. • Four or more years of experience providing technical support in the material handling, heavy equipment or related industries. • Experience with customer or dealer communications and operations a plus.• Competent in applicable PC applications. • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Strong communication skills. • Ability to present technical material to a technically diverse audience as well as a non-technically diverse audience. • Flexibility to travel for in-person training and customer visits (less than 25%)• Ability to be on a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule. • Works well in a team or individual environment. What Sets You Apart:• Experience in the Material Handling Systems Industry.• Systems integration or networking exposure. • Understanding of various software programming languages (C, C+, Linux). • Understanding of wireless networking and networking infrastructure. • Additional knowledge of Raymond Material Handling equipment. • Project management experience. Where and When You’ll Work:• This role is fully remote within mountain or pacific time zones. All you need is a reliable internet connection and a passion for what you do. • Ability to work 10am - 7:30pm PST (1pm - 10:30pm EST)• This position may require travel for in person training or customer visits (less than 25% of the time).WhatYour TotalCompensation & Benefits Package will look like:Salary - $65,400 - $105,000 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.
