YourRole:As a Developer, Data Analytics you will work with various data sources to generate insights to positively impact operational decisions at Vital Farms. You will apply Data Science and modeling principles to design, test, implement and develop data-based solutions, including reporting and preparing large datasets for analysis. What You'll Do:• Perform basic data analysis using statistics and other methodologies to solve business problems• Ensure data integrity and efficiency• Work collaboratively to design and develop data and machine learning models• Identify trends, patterns and insights from data• Create dashboards and maintain and visualizations to track key performance indicators and effectively communicate trends.• Build pipelines and data flows within Fabric and other Integration Tools• Create detailed technical documentation• Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT Teams to gather requirements• Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives, representing the Analytics team and providing input and support as needed. • Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in data analyticsWhat You Bring to the Table:• Bachelor’s Degree or 4+ years' work experience in data modeling and SQL Development• Experience writing Python, R, SQL, Excel, JSON preferred• Experience with Power BI (including DAX) preferred• Knowledge of data structures and algorithms• Familiarity with bolthires Azure and Fabric a plus• Enjoy uncovering hidden patterns and pulling together disparate data sources.• Detail-oriented, strong problem solving and analytics skills• Ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions• Proficiency in statistical methods and data visualization• Excellent written communication skills• Ability to work independently or as part of a team• Ability to travel 25% for team meetings, company offsites, employee onboarding trips and other business needs• You’re no hero – You know the power of teamwork and celebrate the work of others before your own. • You give a sh*t – You believe in acting like an owner and making Vital Farms a place to be proud of.• You raise the standards – You know growth can be hard, but you strive to improve yourself and others each day. • You can walk in someone else’s boots – You seek to understand other’s viewpoints and think that you get to better answers by sitting on the same side of the table. • You don’t walk on eggshells – You’re not afraid to leave the bullsh*t behind and have honest conversations. • We recognize that talent comes in many forms.
