Dental Hygienist - Full-time Instructor

Job Title: Dental Hygiene Instructor (Day Classes) Location: Houston, TX Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours/week | Day Schedule Shape the Next Generation of Dental Health Professionals Are you a passionate dental hygienist or dentist looking to inspire future talent? Our accredited program is seeking a dedicated Dental Hygiene Instructor to play a pivotal role in educating and mentoring our students. You will deliver a dynamic curriculum, foster a supportive learning environment, and ensure our graduates are prepared for clinical excellence and success.Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will be essential to our students' academic journey. Your core duties will include: • Instruction & Curriculum Delivery: Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans that meet program competencies and course objectives. • Student Success & Advocacy: • Monitor student attendance, academic progress, and grades, providing timely reports and interventions. • Provide one-on-one tutoring and academic counseling, collaborating with the Program Director to develop remediation plans when needed.• Identify students needing additional support and refer them to the Student Services Coordinator for specialized resources. • Academic Leadership & Collaboration: • Actively participate in faculty meetings and contribute to program development. • Uphold and ensure student adherence to all academic policies and standards. • Maintain accurate and confidential student records and files. What You Bring (Minimum Qualifications): • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. • Graduate of a Dental Hygiene program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA).• A current, active license, certification, or credential as required to practice in the Dental Hygiene field. • Minimum of 3 years of full-time clinical experience as a Dental Hygienist or Dentist. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Proficiency in bolthires Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
