Dental Revenue Cycle Architect – Build Billing Systems, KPIs, and WorkflowsWe are a high-volume, multi-location orthodontic dental organization seeking a Dental Revenue Cycle Architect to design, optimize, and operationalize our entire billing infrastructure. This is a strategic leadership engagement, not a claims-processing role. We need someone who has built or overseen billing departments at scale. Scope of WorkYou will be responsible for architecting the full revenue cycle system, including:• Mapping end-to-end billing workflows (verification → claims → A/R → appeals → posting)• Designing SOPs, work queues, automation, and productivity standards• Creating KPI frameworks, dashboards, and biller performance metrics• Conducting a comprehensive audit of current billing operations• Identifying and eliminating revenue leakage and workflow bottlenecks• Establishing a scalable staffing model (onshore + offshore mix)• Building payer-specific protocols for denials and A/R recovery• Advising on CRM/work management structure for billing (HubSpot, Ortho2, OpenDental, etc.)What We NeedOnly apply if you meet all of these requirements:• 7+ years in dental or medical revenue cycle leadership• Direct experience building or managing a billing department (not just working in one)• Proven ability to design KPIs and reporting systems• Demonstrated results reducing A/R aging and denial rates• Strong understanding of dental and orthodontic billing• Ability to create detailed SOPs and system architecture• Experience working with multi-location groups or DSOsWhat We Are NOT Looking For• Claim processors• Entry-level dental billers• Virtual assistants• Anyone without RCM leadership experienceEngagement PhasesPhase 1: Full audit + workflow mappingPhase 2: KPI system + staffing model + SOP developmentPhase 3: System design + CRM/work queue architecturePhase 4: Implementation guidance + optimization reviewThis role is for a highly experienced RCM professional who has designed billing systems, built teams, and driven measurable financial improvement.Apply tot his job
