OverviewData Analysis Supervisor - REMOTEThe Data Analysis Supervisor position provides oversight, supervision, training and development of the data analysts, senior data analysts and statisticians in an environment of performing complex cross claims analysis for Medicare and/or Medicaid benefits. Responsibilities include overseeing the following activities: fulfilling internal and external requests for data analyses/statistical analysis, conducting proactive studies, and the assurance of data management quality and timeliness.In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting CoventBridge Group's objective: To provide services to our clients that exceed their expectations and contribute to improved healthcare delivery by identifying and eliminating fraud, waste and abuse. The Data Analysis Supervisor will report to the Data Analysis Manager and will work in our Grove City, OH office, or if not local, remotely from a home office. Responsibilities/ RequirementsResponsibilities:• Coordinate data analysis/statistical analysis activities for internal and external stakeholders, including law enforcement and CMS• Coordinate proactive studies for the purpose of identifying fraud, waste and/or abuse in the Medicare and/or Medicaid programs using cross claims analysis• Coordinate ad hoc reactive requests to support investigative case development and to fulfill law enforcement data requests• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, including federal law enforcement officers• Support management requests for CMS reporting requirements• Ensure compliance with PIM guidelines and CMS direction concerning data analysis and data management• Meet established quality and production standards• Hires and supervises data analysts and senior data analysts.• Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with written procedures for the unit• Produce and submit required reports according to established time limits• Provide guidance for data analysis issues involving Medicare Administrative Contractors• Provide overall direction for the data analysis unit including assigning and monitoring workloads and adhering to established deadlines and priorities• Coordinate meetings of the Proactive Consultative Team (PCT) where the results of proactive data analysis projects are presented and considered for next steps• Perform other duties as assignedRequirements:• Knowledge of Medicare and/or Medicaid claims processing and reimbursement• Knowledge of statistical manipulations and sampling procedures• Knowledge and skills to initiate, develop, and implement operational strategies and procedures to achieve stated goals• Exceptional verbal and written communication and negotiation skills• Strong leadership, organizational, and planning skills• Excellent critical thinking skills• Ability to manage multiple and conflicting priorities• Requires a working knowledge of SAS and/or other data warehouse applications to perform various types of complex data analysisEducational/ExperienceQualifications:• Bachelor’s Degree in Math, Statistics, or a related field is required.Preference given to those with post-graduate work in a related field• Minimum two years’ experience in Data Analysis or one year of experience with an advanced degree in Math, Statistics, or a related field• Experience in Medicare/Medicaid program integrity activities• Experience with multiple data analysis tools including SAS preferredBenefits• Medical, Dental, Vision plans• Life, LTD and STD paid by the employer• 401(k) with company match up to 4%• Paid Time Off and company paid holidays• Tuition assistance after 1 year of serviceThe salary range for this role is $80,000 to $95,000 annually.This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
