Creative Director (Music Industry)

Our clients range from some of the largest artists and brands in the world to exciting new and emerging artists and brands. Our agency is currently seeking an edgy/experienced Creative Director to oversee our creative team for our music clients. We are looking for someone who has previous experience in the music industry.This role is focused on being a mentor and leader to the creative team (consisting of graphic designers and video editors, and ai prompters for social content, visual identity/branding projects). You will provide detailed feedback and direction for creative work to be done based on project scopes and guide the team members as they create. You’ll also lead a creative team weekly call to check in with the team and weekly, biweekly or monthly client calls to ensure all work is aligned with your vision and the clients vision.We're ultimately looking for someone with a keen pulse on the internet within these industries and a passion for creative direction as a whole. Being a natural-born leader, collaborative with others, organized and clear with giving feedback/instruction, and comfortable with change is key to success at AUSTERE. This person has a strong chance of turning into a full time role and becoming a pivotal part of our growing leadership team long term with profit sharing opportunities. APPLY HERE:Responsibilities:• Virtually meet with our internal team for a brainstorms, feedback and client calls• Communicate and receive feedback on Asana with our internal team.• Provide detailed feedback on video edits, graphic edits and more for content production. • Lead a weekly call with the creative team. • Participate in weekly client calls to relay deliverables and provide insights to clients on creative direction. • Collaborate with our Accounts Executives to assign creative tasks to the creative team members on Asana and ensure work is being done effectively. • Overall be a good leader and team player where needed for your team and be timely with responding to your team on Slack when they tag you with questions.• Be a wealth of knowledge regarding the industry's best practices for content. REQUIRED:• An obsessive level of understanding of the social media industry and platforms. • Past experience as a Video Editor or Graphic Designer. • Multidisciplinary portfolio with a focus on social. • High skill level and advanced proficiency with the Adobe Suite. Not a fit:• Creative Directors that only have photography experience.
