Consultant, Business Controls
Job Description:• Partner with first line of defense teams in CAO to enable effective risk management• Conduct risk assessments to identify and measure applicable risks• Support CIRA process and assist CAO business sponsors• Identify and document risks and control gaps• Work with management to assess root cause and identify action plans• Contribute to identification and maintenance of controls owned/executed by CAO• Participate in annual refresh of Risk Appetite Statement and metrics• Act as risk and controls Subject Matter Expert (SME)• Serve as liaison for testing and examinations• Cultivate relationships with CAO management and Governance & Controls teams.Requirements:• 3-5 years of experience in compliance, operational risk, audit, or finance• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Accounting, Finance, Business or Management• Strong interpersonal, written, verbal and presentation skills• Ability to articulate complex issues concisely• Relationship building and stakeholder management skills• Ability to execute tasks under aggressive targets• Strong initiative, energy and confidence completing projects with limited supervision.
