Chief Financial Officer – Family Office & Operating Business

Gulf Shores, Alabama | On-site (with some flexibility)We are a privately held family enterprise in Gulf Shores, AL, with a single-family office (~$150M net worth) and an active building/construction business. We’re seeking a hands-on CFO to lead all finance, accounting, reporting, and strategic planning across both the family office and the operating company. What You’ll Do· Oversee all accounting and reporting for family office entities, investments, and trusts· Lead financial management for the building business: budgeting, job bolthires accounting, WIP,cash flow· Manage banking, lending, and treasury, including lines of credit and project financing· Coordinate with CPAs, tax and legal advisors on structuring and compliance· Build and improve systems, controls, and reporting in a lean environment· Partner with ownership on long-term strategy, capital allocation, and new investments/projectsWhat We’re Looking For· 10+ years in finance/accounting, including time as CFO, VP Finance, or similar· Experience in construction, real estate development, or project-based businesses strongly preferred· Exposure to family offices or high-net-worth structures is a plus· Bachelor’s in accounting plus CPA and/or MBA required.· Hands-on, entrepreneurial, high-integrity, high energy leader who can operate strategically and tacticallyCompensation· Base: 225,000 – 250,000· Performance-based bonus tied to both operating business and family office outcomes· Potential long-term incentive/profit participation for the right candidate• www.thefortiscompany.com [email protected] Apply tot his job
