Business Systems Analyst (Retail or E-commerce along with SCM)

Job Description::We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Business Systems Analyst with expertise in eCommerce, retail, and supply chain systems. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technology, focusing on optimizing and improving the company's digital retail and supply chain operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, marketing, and external vendors, to ensure successful implementation and management of systems supporting eCommerce and supply chain processes.Key Responsibilities:• Business Analysis and Process Improvement:• Analyze current eCommerce, retail, and supply chain processes to identify opportunities for improvement and system enhancements. • Gather, document, and validate business requirements through workshops, interviews, and other methods. • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document functional specifications, use cases, and process workflows. • Lead efforts to improve customer experience by optimizing the digital retail platform and supply chain logistics.• System Implementation and Management:• Work closely with the development and IT teams to design, test, and implement new features and enhancements in eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento) and supply chain management systems (e.g., WMS, ERP, TMS). • Ensure that business requirements are translated into technical specifications for system development and integration. • Oversee system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and provide training and support to end-users. • Data Analysis and Reporting:• Leverage data analytics tools to monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to eCommerce sales, customer behavior, and supply chain efficiency.• Generate reports for management, offering insights into system performance, and recommend data-driven solutions for operational challenges. RequiredQualifications:• Education:• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. • MBA or advanced degree is a plus. • Experience:• 3-5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in the eCommerce, retail, or supply chain industries. • Proven experience with eCommerce platforms (e.g., Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce) and supply chain systems (e.g., WMS, ERP, TMS).• Experience with retail inventory management, order processing, and fulfillment systems. • Previous experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies is a plus. • Technical Skills:• Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Power BI). • Familiarity with integration technologies (APIs, middleware) and cloud-based systems. • Understanding of system architecture, database management, and software development lifecycle (SDLC). • Knowledge of ERP, CRM, or POS systems is an advantage.
