S r. Advanced Cloud Developer for Honeywell International, Inc. (Phoenix, AZ) R ESPONSIBILITES: S • upport the growth of our DevSecOps team which delivers alongside our engineering teams an Aerospace Services and Connectivity Hybrid Cloud Platform. P • erform technical hands-on DevSecOps responsibilities alongside team contribution including team contributions within engineering that support software development providing DevSecOps capabilities via performance and site reliability (PSR) engineering, maintenance of highly available software development tools, providing a 5-star developer experience, support for automation enabling promotion and release management, and overall performance.P • roactive contribution to solutions that diminish operational issues, help developers build highly scalable applications, and architecting infrastructure as code to gain efficiencies and increase productivity across all Aero S&C initiatives - all while delivering 99.999% SLA across all systems in the Aero S&C area of responsibility. C • ontribute to a team of DevSecOps and Network Engineers balancing between application support, promotion and release support, developer apps, IaaS automation, and other strategic initiatives.P • roviding career and skills growth, team contribution and motivations, and managing individual performance, to contribute to a high-performance culture. L • ead through example and provide DevSecOps thought leadership in areas of continuous improvement/ continuous delivery (bolthires/CD) and continuous testing & certification, site reliability within cloud and private clouds-based microservices and data architectures based on previous industry experience with large scale cloud platforms. W • indows and cloud administration in support of developer applications and databases.S • upport of domain services (DNS, SMTP, etc.). Support of virtualization layer (bolthires Hyper-V, VMWARE, KVM). Y OU MUST HAVE: Q • ualified applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, and 5 years of direct experience with Windows administration including Active Directory. I • n the alternative, employer will accept a Master’s degree in the above-listd fields and 2 years of direct experience with Windows administration including Active Directory.M • ust have full term of experience with the following: Cloud infrastructure operations within the cloud platform and SaaS domain; experience with complex virtualized environments (MS Hyper-V and/or VMWARE); demonstrated technical experience in DevSecOps capabilities and running systems in a largescale public, private, or hybrid cloud environment; experience with cloud platforms in a production environment; experience with scripting and automation tools such as Ansible, PowerShell, Azure-CLI, Pipeline scripting; experience with agile or iterative development methodologies in delivering SaaS products; sound IT change management skills to lead change and acceptance within the workforce by proactively and creatively taking action to achieve goals and control risk.T • elecommuting permitted up to 2 times per week.
