Attorney with Immigration Law Experience (Remote and Contract)

Latitude is seeking an experienced immigration lawyer to assist a New York-based immigration law firm on a completely remote basis. This is a great opportunity for someone with immigration law experience who is looking for a WFH or remote part-time position to supplement their own solo legal practice. The best candidates will have experience in both family-based immigration and business employment immigration matters. Requirements for the Attorney with Immigration Law Experience (Remote and Contract):• 5+ years of practice handling immigration matters, including immigration related hearings• Capable of working independently• Experience with both family-based immigration and business employment matters is a plus but it is not required.• Excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school. • Outstanding references• Active law license in any state and in good standingPosition Details for the Attorney with Immigration Law Experience (Remote and Contract):• Type ofRole: Contract• Schedule: As needed (up to 20 hours per week)• Start date: Immediate• Location:Remote (living in the New York area is a plus but it is not required)CompensationPay:The annualized pay for this position ranges from $175,000 to $200,000 on a full-time basis.Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position).
