This is a full-time, entry-level, on-site position within one of Amazon’s fulfilment centres, sort centres, or delivery stations.As an Area Manager, you’ll be on the production floor motivating, mentoring, and developing a team of 50–100 Amazon Associates. You’ll lead in a fast-paced environment, ensuring safety, quality, performance, and customer satisfaction. Amazon provides extensive training and development programs to prepare you for success as a people manager. Key Responsibilities:• Lead, support, and motivate a team of 50–100 hourly Amazon Associates. • Mentor and develop employees to meet safety, quality, and performance goals.• Work independently in an autonomous environment. • Manage shift schedules that may include nights, weekends, or holidays. • Oversee truck deliveries, package handling, and PIT equipment operation (site-dependent). • Maintain a safe, productive, and customer-focused environment. BasicQualifications:• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with all requirements completed between May 2024 – August 2026. • Ability to stand/walk for up to 12 hours. • Willingness to lift to 49 lbs, bend, squat, climb stairs, and work in variable conditions.• Work authorisation in the U.S. (no sponsorship available). PreferredQualifications:• Strong communication and leadership skills. • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering, or related field. • Customer service and interpersonal experience.
