YouTube Video Editor & Publishing Assistant (Part-Time, EST Hours, Long-Term)
We are looking for a reliable, long-term YouTube Video Editor & Publishing Assistant who can work daily (Monday–Thursday) in Eastern US hours and handle both editing and uploading/publishing. Our channel produces daily market-analysis videos, a weekly trading podcast, and monthly broker review content. We already have a content and SEO team—your role is focused on editing, exporting, and uploading with consistency and quality. This is a long-term opportunity with steady work every week. Responsibilities- Daily (Mon–Thu):- Edit short daily market-analysis videos- Light cleanup: cuts, audio smoothing, adding intro/outro- Create/update thumbnails in Canva- Export and upload to YouTube- Add provided titles/descriptions/tags- Set end screens and playlists- Schedule videos on timeWeekly Podcast:- Use Riverside to assemble the full podcast episode- Perform light audio cleanup using built-in AI tools- Export and finalize the episode- Upload to YouTube with correct formatting- Create 1–3 promo clips (shorts or highlights)- Make a thumbnail for the episodeRequirements:- English: Fluent- Strong video editing skills (Riverside.fm, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci, or similar)- Ability to work consistently during Eastern US daytime hours- Experience uploading and publishing videos through YouTube Studio- Ability to create thumbnails using Canva- Strong understanding of YouTube formatting (tags, end screens, scheduling)- Reliable communication and long-term availability- Fast turnaround times and consistencyPreferred:- Experience editing podcasts- Experience editing finance/trading content (not required)- Ability to make intelligent decisions about thumbnails, pacing, and presentationHours & Workload:- 8–15 hours per week, depending on volume- Daily editing + uploading Mon–Thu- Weekly podcast (2–4 hours)- Long-term role- Must be available for same-day delivery on daily contentBudget:- We are looking for a cost-effective, reliable freelancer.- Target range: $8–$15/hour depending on experience, timezone, and reliability. - EST availability is important. - Long-term commitment is preferred. 1.
