YouTube Content Creator (Feel-Good Nonprofit Stories) — Weekly Ongoing Project
We’re looking for a creative YouTube storyteller who loves uplifting content. Our nonprofit organization helps nonprofit leaders develop more future-ready organizations. Now we want to start sharing feel-good stories featuring those types of organizations — the kind that restore your faith in humanity. We’re launching a new series on our YouTube channel and we’re searching for a creator who can help bring these stories to life through engaging on-camera storytelling + simple editing + content repurposing.Example hook format: "This nonprofit helped a single mom with three kids move into permanent housing — and how they did it might surprise you…"This is an opportunity to help build a channel — and shape something meaningful. If you love making hopeful content that leaves people smiling, this could be your place. What You’ll Be Doing (Weekly Rhythm)You’ll own the creation of one weekly flagship YouTube video, plus shorts clipped from that story:Weekly Output:1 long-form YouTube video (6–10 min)Emotional storytelling format — think Humans of New York meets Upworthy✂️ 3–5 YouTube Shorts repurposed from that story2 YouTube community posts (pull quotes, previews, emotional hook)Publish + optimize titles, thumbnails (optional Canva template support), tags & captionsInsert newsletter signup CTAs into video/description/pinned commentsNo need for Hollywood editing — simple, clean, engaging storytelling is enough.Examples of Weekly Tasks- Research or receive a feel-good nonprofit story- Draft a short script/outline with emotional hook- Film yourself telling the story (or narrate over visuals)- Edit & publish long-form YouTube video- Cut 30–60 sec highlight clips for Shorts- Optimize descriptions + CTAs for email conversionIf you bring ideas, we’re very open to creative collaboration.
