About the RoleWe are looking for a reliable and highly organized Weekend Roadside Diesel Repair Dispatcher to coordinate emergency roadside service calls for diesel trucks and commercial vehicles. This role involves managing incoming calls, dispatching technicians, tracking job progress, and ensuring fast, professional service for drivers and fleet customers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong communication skills, the ability to stay calm under pressure, and a customer-first mindset.Responsibilities• Answer incoming roadside service calls and gather essential information (location, issue, vehicle details). • Dispatch diesel repair technicians promptly and efficiently based on location and availability. • Maintain clear communication with drivers, customers, and technicians throughout each job. • Update job statuses in dispatching software or company systems. • Coordinate with parts suppliers if additional resources are needed. • Prioritize calls based on urgency and safety. • Document all interactions and service details accurately.• Provide excellent customer service with a professional and positive attitude. Requirements• Previous experience in dispatching, trucking/logistics, diesel service, or related field preferred. • Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills, especially during high-volume periods. • Excellent phone communication and customer service skills. • Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism. • Basic computer skills and ability to learn dispatching software. • Reliable weekend availability (Saturday & Sunday).Schedule• Weekends only• Additional hours may be available if desired.
