This key role is responsible for a wide range of activities, including transactional, reporting, and forecasting tasks. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader, guiding financial decisions, and ensuring the protection of assets through the establishment and monitoring of internal controls.They will also be accountable for the production of financial reports, maintenance of accounting records, and compliance with relevant financial standards. The VP will be hands-on, involved in the creation of financial transactions and reports, and will oversee cash flow projections and capital calls. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree, a CPA certification, and a minimum of 10 years' of experience in accounting and finance. A strong preference is given to those with a background in agency consulting or audit, experience in the sports industry, and familiarity with small or start-up business environments.The role requires a candidate with strong communication skills, a bolthires/benefit mindset, and the ability to balance pace and accuracy.
