Here, you will make an impact by:• Leads the execution strategy for the annual 3M Global Impact Report, 3M.com/sustainability, and content entry into sustainability/environmental, social, and governance (ESG) rating/rankings platforms• Supports corporate initiatives by implementing sustainability project content, inputs, and project deliverables through assessments such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standard, external investor surveys, and key performance indicators for product innovations• Initiates, develops, and directs efforts with internal and external design for the Global Impact Report and 3M.com/sustainability• Participates in the development of the strategic direction and structure of the sustainability department• Advises management of gaps and improvement opportunities in sustainability content reporting and web developmentYour Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution, preferably in a related field such as English Language & Literature, Communication, or Journalism.• Ten (10) years of experience with sustainability programs, copywriter, and/or proofreader or related field in a private, public, government or military environmentAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:• Project management background executing the strategy for corporate sustainability content and web development• Experience as a copywriter, proofreader, and web designer• Ability to work across global teams to influence cross-functions business decisions and write for an external audience using clear, direct communication• Experience with initiatives such as GRI Reporting, S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (Dow Jones Sustainability Index), and CDP ReportingWork location:• WorkYour Way Eligible (Employee choice to work remote, on site, or hybrid)• Travel: up to 10%Relocation Assistance: Is not authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).SupportingYour Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially.
