Structural Engineer - Buildings - REMOTE/HYBRID OPPORTUNITY
About the positionResponsibilities• Design and analyze structural systems for commercial and industrial buildings. • Collaborate with other engineers and architects to ensure project specifications are met. • Prepare detailed engineering calculations and reports. • Review and approve shop drawings and submittals. • Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations. Requirements• 3-7+ years of experience in Structural Design for buildings/structures. • Licensed PE in California or close to obtaining licensure (EITs considered if licensed this year).• Experience in structural design of concrete, steel, masonry, and wood structures. • Experience with water/wastewater projects is heavily preferred. Nice-to-haves• Experience with municipal, commercial, and industrial clients. • Familiarity with building information modeling (BIM) software.
