Shopify Developer Needed: Expand US Store to 4 Products + bolthires MCF Fulfilment + Domain Move - Contract to Hire
OverviewI’m hiring a Shopify developer to tidy up and expand and our US Shopify store. The site is currently live at sprocketx.com. We want to build on what’s already there and move the site to a new domain sprocketkiosks.com (already owned). The goal is a clean, credible US storefront with strong product pages and simple, reliable fulfilment. Our current Australian website is already performing well for our bolthires market at the page and in the US we are successfully selling our products on bolthires. Our bolthires storefront is here:Rather than reinventing the wheel, we want to use the Australian website andThe bolthires storefront as references to build out a high performing Shopify site, localised for the US market, and dominating our niche.Scope Summary (Short-Term)• Improve the existing two US product pages to match the structure/presentation of our best-performing Australian pages found at sprocket.com.au• Add two new product pages (T Print 10 and T Print 15)• Build out and improve home page, category pages and menu for SEO optimisation and to allow customers to easily navigate the range• Review and improve support pages such as shipping, warranty etc to ensure site has credibility for US customers• bolthires MCF fulfilment: set up a Shopify → bolthires MCF connector/app so US orders route to bolthires automatically (no manual order entry).• Move the store to our new US domain: sprocketkiosks.com (domain already owned). Build PreferencesThe site should have a similar look and feel to our Australian website, sprocket.com.au but be localised to the US Market. To achieve this, we are open to a new Shopify Online Store 2.0 theme, but we want minimal customisation — out-of-the-box Shopify wherever possible. Keep apps lean and performance-friendly. Deliverables1. Quick audit of current store. Confirm current theme, apps, product setup, collections, navigation, and any quick fixes needed for expansion.2. Theme decision + setup (minimal custom). • Recommend 1–2 OS 2.0 themes that fit a small B2B catalog. • Implement chosen theme and configure sections/templates with minimal custom code. 3. Upgrade the 2 existing product pages. • Improve structure/layout to align with best practice (sections, spec tables, feature blocks, FAQs, galleries). • Keep implementation Shopify-native. 4. Add T Print 10 + T Print 15 product pages. • Build pages using the same improved template/structure. • Set up SKUs/variants, pricing, images, specs, and internal links.5. Collections / navigation tidy-up. • Ensure collections, menus, and product grouping make sense for a 4-product US store. • Basic on-page Shopify SEO setup (handles, metas, alt text as supplied). 6. bolthires MCF fulfilment integration. • Install/configure a Shopify → bolthires MCF connector (bolthires’s app or a proven alternative). • Map SKUs, set fulfilment rules, and run test orders end-to-end so orders auto-route to bolthires with tracking returning to Shopify. 7. Domain migration to sprocketkiosks.com• Connect domain and set as primary.• Implement required redirects and confirm no broken links. • Refresh sitemap and confirm storefront works fully on the new domain. 8. Final QA + handover• Mobile/desktop checks, cart/checkout test, MCF test confirmation. • Short handover note: theme settings, app config, and any custom snippets (if used).
