About the positionResponsibilities• Direct oversight of the Revenue and Sales & Events operations of the hotel• Manage the Sales, Marketing and Events Budget/P&L• Conduct revenue forecasting• Oversee advertising and marketing efforts• Develop and write business plans• Lead ownership meetings• Implement short-term and long-term strategies in sales, catering, and marketing channels• Maximize overall hotel revenue for rooms and food and beverage• Implement effective pricing and distribution strategies• Manage revenue management analytic functions• Produce accurate revenue forecasts• Mentor, develop, and guide hotel team members• Lead recruitment and hiring of sales and event services staff• Train and coach managers in selling and servicing processes• Monitor group and transient contractual agreement processes• Manage retention, reactivation, and acquisition accountsRequirements• Relevant Revenue and/or Sales leadership experience, 5 years preferred• Previous Hyatt experience preferred• Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds• Professional presentation skills• Must be a caring leader that builds trust and engagement by cultivating genuine relationships• Innovative thinker that will challenge business processes and concepts to drive results• Creative and strategic in developing marketing/advertising campaigns and managing social media platforms• Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills• Excellent organizational and time management skills• Proficient with computers as well as Microsoft Word, Excel and the internet• Comfortable with sales and revenue systems/programs• Flexible to work some nights and weekends when necessary based on business and staffing needsNice-to-haves• Experience in the hospitality industry• Familiarity with hotel revenue management systems Apply tot his job
